Make Up Design

Cuts
This burn effect was developed for a makeup design class project to study realistic trauma creation using practical special effects techniques. Designed and applied on my own hand, the work emphasizes layered texture, color variation, and attention to detail to achieve a convincing burn suitable for stage or film.

Burns
This special effects makeup design was created as part of a class assignment exploring realistic injury simulation. Applied on my own hand, the piece focuses on creating a believable laceration through texture building, color blending, and controlled blood application while practicing safe and effective SFX techniques.

1980'S Period Make Up
This makeup design was created for a class assignment focused on 1980s period styling. The look was achieved using foundation to create an even complexion, neutral contouring to shape the face naturally, and soft eye definition using eyeliner and subtle shadow to reflect everyday makeup trends of the era. Brow shaping was kept minimal to maintain a natural appearance, and lip color was applied lightly to support a realistic, character-based aesthetic. The makeup was researched and applied on myself to practice historically informed design and practical application techniques for stage performance.
