
About Me
Jerrod D. Boswell is a theatre artist and BFA candidate in Theatre (Generalist Concentration, Musical Theatre Certificate) at the University of West Georgia, graduating Fall 2026. He is a versatile performer, stage manager, and collaborator dedicated to meaningful storytelling onstage and behind the scenes.
His production credits include Fuddy Meers, The 39 Steps, ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, Songs and Stories, and Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, with recognition from KCACTF (2025, Stage Management) and ACTF (2026, Sound Design). He has also worked as a student assistant in marketing and the scene shop, contributing to productions such as Hamlet, Animal Farm, and The Sound of Music.
Jerrod has trained with the Alliance Theatre, Pearl Cleage, Susan Stroman, Vishal Vaidya, and Sharon Foote. On camera, he has appeared in The Boar and the Deer (lead) and Alert (supporting).
As a teaching artist, he has worked with students in grades 3–12 in acting, dance, and musical theatre. He is also an emerging writer, developing original plays and a novel that explore themes of identity, justice, and healing.
